About Me.

An interest in photography commenced when I was given a camera to use instead of borrowing a mobile phone.  I was always taking snapshots as I loved being out in nature and capturing the beauty of birds, wildlife and landscapes. Once I had a camera I could experiment and learn so much more. I then had the opportunity to work on different settings, compositions, angles, styles and presentation.

Through my images I hope to encourage an appreciation of nature and conserve species and their habitats for present and future generations.  Conservation and education is so important as birds and wildlife are being displaced and habitats lost.  I have assisted with several bird rescues and releases, and I aim to raise awareness of how people can help and how some of the injuries can be prevented.

The camera I am currently using is a Canon EOS 550D and Tamron 16-300mm lens. I still have my Canon Powershot which I captured some of my favourite images and use it from time to time.
